Weather Updates: The bitter cold has knocked once again in Rajasthan. During the last 24 hours in Bikaner and Jaipur divisions, the minimum temperature again declined. A spokesman of the Meteorological Department said that Karauli recorded a minimum temperature of 3.2 degrees Celsius and Pilani 3.9 degrees Celsius on Friday night. Similarly, Sirohi recorded a minimum temperature of 4.3 degrees, Churu 4.6 degrees, Sikar 5.0 degrees, Fatehpur 5.7 degrees and Dholpur 6.1 degrees.
According to the spokesperson, the minimum and maximum temperature in the capital Jaipur last night was 8.3 degree and 21.1 degree respectively. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in most parts of Rajasthan was recorded between 6 to 12 degree Celsius.
Whereas, it was a cold Saturday morning in the national capital as the minimum temperature was recorded at 6.2 degrees Celsius, a notch below normal. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information. The IMD said the relative humidity in Delhi was recorded at 91 per cent at 8.30 am on Saturday. The department has predicted a clear sky in the city during the day. At the same time, the maximum temperature can be recorded around 22 degree Celsius.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, Delhi recorded an overall air quality index (AQI) of 221 at 9 am, which falls in the ‘poor’ category.
