According to the latest updates of the Meteorological Department, from January 16 to 18, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR can see a huge drop in the minimum temperature. Dense fog has been predicted in many areas. At the same time, in some areas the mercury can come down to 5 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, this round of cold wave is associated with the cold Arctic Northwest Jet Stream. Which is passing through North India. Its effect will be visible in states like UP-Bihar for four to five days. In view of the latest weather conditions, 16 to 20 people have been advised to take proper precautions.

The weather of Bihar will again take a turn from January 16. There is an alert of severe cold in the state from 16 to 18 January. There may be a significant drop in the day and night temperatures across the state. In many districts, the condition of cold wave may continue till January 20. After this the weather is expected to clear.

Let us also tell you that in the last two days, half a dozen cities of Bihar have got relief from cold, but three cities remained in the grip of severe cold even on Saturday. Bhagalpur, Chhapra and Sabour witnessed a drop in the minimum temperature. At the same time, in many cities of the state including Patna, there was sunshine throughout the day on Saturday. On Saturday, the maximum temperature reached 26 degrees and above in Patna, Gaya, Nawada, Aurangabad, Sheikhpura and Dehri. Sheikhpura recorded a maximum temperature of 27.3 degrees. Except for Agwanpur in Saharsa (18.5 degrees), the maximum temperature of almost all the cities of the state is above 20 degrees.

Warning of cold wave on the mountain till January 17
The Meteorological Center has predicted dry weather for the next four days and warned of dense fog and cold wave in the lower hills from January 14 to 17. Tourist resort Narkanda recorded a minimum temperature of -2.5 degrees Celsius, while Kufri recorded minus 0.8 degrees, Manali minus 0.2 degrees, Dalhousie 0.5 degrees, Shimla 0.6 degrees, Kasauli 5.7 degrees and Dharamshala 6.4 degrees. Cold wave in western UP from Monday

For the last two days, due to western disturbance, the day and night temperature increased due to cloudy and light rain, but now the process of fall in mercury has started again with cold wind. After rain and snowfall in Uttarakhand, winter will now bring more torture in Uttar Pradesh.

After rain and showers in some areas of the state including Lucknow, the weather cleared up, but the cold wind increased the chill. With the drop in mercury in the evening, the outbreak of melting and chilly cold increased further.

Cold will increase in Jharkhand from today

Kankani will increase in the morning due to a drop of two-three degrees in the minimum temperature. Its effect will remain in the state for two days. Along with this, the effect of Western Disturbance is reducing in the northwestern part of the country. Cold winds will start blowing as soon as the sky clears. On the other hand, fog may increase in the morning in the northern part of the state. But exposure to sunlight will reduce its effect. In the northern part of the state, the minimum temperature is expected to fall below 8.0 degrees due to cold fog. The maximum temperature in the entire state was four degrees above normal and the minimum temperature was also four degrees below normal.

Cold havoc in Rajasthan, mercury dropped at three places
In Rajasthan, due to the fall in temperature and cold wave, the cold wave again started wreaking havoc and the minimum temperature reached below the freezing point at three places including the tourist destination Mount Abu, due to which people started shivering. According to the information received, the minimum temperature in Mountabu, a hill tourist destination located in Sirohi district, was recorded four degrees Celsius below the freezing point, where the temperature dropped by seven degrees Celsius in the last twenty-four hours. Similarly, Fatehpur in Sikar district recorded a minimum temperature of 3.5 degrees Celsius below the freezing point.
