IMD Rain Forecast: The weather of the country is changing rapidly due to western disturbance. In the bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department on the morning of January 13, rain and snowfall have been predicted in many states. According to IMD, snowfall will continue in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand even today. In addition, light rain may occur over parts of Punjab, Haryana and adjoining West Uttar Pradesh.
The Meteorological Department has also predicted about the cold wave. According to the latest weather bulletin, cold wave conditions will continue in many areas of Karnataka on January 13 and 14. At the same time, severe cold wave conditions will continue in Rajasthan. IMD has said that Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh will experience severe cold from January 15 to 17. Along with this, on January 16 and 17, people in Madhya Pradesh will have to bear the brunt of winter.
Due to the continuation of the winds blowing in the plains of Ganga, Bihar will witness dense fog during night and morning from January 13 to 17. At the same time, during the night and morning hours of Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura on January 13-14, such conditions will prevail.
The Meteorological Department has also said that there is a possibility of dense fog in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh during 14th to 17th.
