BSP chief Mayawati has made a big announcement on her birthday today. He has put an end to speculations about opposition unity in the coming elections. BSP supremo Mayawati, on the occasion of her birthday, made it clear that her party will not forge an alliance with anyone in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and assembly elections in states like Karnataka, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh etc. He also clearly said that BSP’s voter base has increased and voting percentage has been high whenever elections have been held through ballots, but it has made a difference when elections are held through EVMs. He has described the victory of BJP as a miracle of EVM.
Talking to reporters on the occasion of her birthday at the party office on Sunday, the BSP supremo said that some parties are spreading the illusion of an alliance with the BSP, so she wants to make it clear that she will contest the elections without an alliance. It happens that their vote definitely goes to other parties but they do not get any benefit.
Voting from EVM raised questions
Mayawati said about voting with EVMs that there are apprehensions about it, where the process of voting with EVMs started, it was stopped after disturbances, but elections are still being held with EVMs in our country. He said that his party’s seats increased till the elections were held through ballot paper, but after the elections were held through EVMs, it has been affected.
He said that BJP is doing publicity in the name of investment. Our party is being stopped from moving forward. Our party is the party of the poor, Dalits and backward classes. Injustice is being done to the farmers and laborers in this government.

Mayawati thanked the well wishers who wished her on her birthday. He appealed to Dalits, poor, exploited and backward, neglected and minorities to join hands with the BSP and bring the key of power of the central and state government into their own hands. Mayawati attacked Congress, BJP and SP over reservation. Mayawati said that the game of not giving reservation to OBCs was played, due to which the civic elections in UP were affected. He said that Mandal Commission was not allowed to be implemented in the same way, in the SP government, 17 OBC castes were killed by making them SC, their right was killed. The matter was deliberately framed by the governments. He said that the BSP has been a supporter of reservation and whenever it came to power, it did not make any mistake in giving reservation.
