An accused in the Kanjhawala case has got bail. Kanjhawala case accused Ashutosh Bhardwaj has got bail from a Delhi court. Earlier, the court had reserved its verdict on Ashutosh’s bail plea. After which Ashutosh got bail on Tuesday. Please inform that two accused in this case, Ashutosh Bhardwaj and Ankush Khanna, are accused of hiding evidence. Earlier on Monday, a hearing was held in the court in this matter. During the hearing, Delhi Police had said that this case is very serious and it is in the process of imposing murder charge in this case. Saying this, the Delhi Police opposed the grant of bail to the accused. However, the accused got bail on Tuesday.
Additional Sessions Judge Sushil Bala Dagar had on Monday reserved its order on Bhardwaj’s bail. The judge said on Tuesday that the accused is granted bail on a surety of Rs 50,000. The judge, in oral remarks, said that Bhardwaj’s role began after the crime was committed. Detailed order in the matter is awaited.
Please tell that the court has given bail to Ashutosh Bhardwaj on a bail bond of 50 thousand. The Rohini court imposed a condition that the accused would not leave Delhi without the permission of the court. The court also said that the accused will not tamper with the evidence, will not contact the witnesses.
11 policemen have been suspended
A few days ago, the Delhi Police had suspended 11 policemen on duty in the PCR van and picket at the time of the incident for dragging a girl under a car in Delhi. The Ministry of Home Affairs had taken this incident very seriously and had also asked to impose section 302 of the IPC. The policemen who were hit included 2 sub-inspectors, 4 assistant sub-inspectors, 4 head constables and 1 constable.
Two accused were later arrested
Earlier, a Delhi court had on Saturday granted bail to another accused in the case, Ankush Khanna, who allegedly defended the accused. Delhi Police had earlier arrested Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishan and Mithun for brutally dragging a girl on a Delhi road on the night of 31 December. Later Ashutosh and Ankush were arrested.
Anjali’s post-mortem was done by a panel of 3 doctors.
Anjali, 20, was dragged on a Delhi road for 12 kilometers when her scooty collided with a car. Anjali was trapped under the car in this accident. After which the car driver kept dragging Anjali for 12 kms. Anjali’s dead body was found in a mutilated condition. Even his clothes were torn. In this case a panel of 3 doctors was constituted which conducted the post mortem of Anjali.
Anjali’s friend Nidhi came in front
After the accident, Nidhi, a friend of Anjil also came forward. Nidhi claimed that she too was on the scooty at the time of the accident. He was also hurt after falling from the scooty. But then she got up from there and went to her house. Nidhi had claimed that the two had drunk and partied that night. After this the accident happened. Nidhi had also claimed that the occupants of the car knew that Nidhi was trapped under the car, yet they continued to drag her. Nidhi had said that she was very scared after this incident. He went home and told this to his grandmother. However, many of the fund’s claims are also under question.
