Cracking UPSC exam is not easy, but not impossible either. There are many candidates who crack this exam by following the right strategy, one of them is Aishwarya Verma of Ujjain, who secured 4th rank in UPSC exam and became IAS. Let us know about their preparation.
Aishwarya Verma UPSC is an inspiration for all UPSC aspirants. He comes from a middle-class background and his father works in the banking sector. Aishwarya Verma completed her education from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh and within 2017 had taken her graduation degree in Technology from University of Agriculture and Technology, Uttarakhand.
After graduation, Aishwarya Verma moved to Delhi for UPSC Civil Services Coaching, but could not join coaching in 2020 due to COVID-19. After which he did self-study by staying at home.
Let me tell you, when Aishwarya was in the final year, she had decided to take the UPSC exam. He left field placement for UPSC exam. As soon as he graduated, he started preparing for UPSC.
He said, “My resume was blank. I knew that if the civil services didn’t work out, I might have to struggle for a stable career. After 3rd attempt of UPSC I was very confident but could not clear. That was my weakest time, but my parents supported me a lot. He always assured me that I should go ahead and he would support me in every way.

Aishwarya Verma secured the fourth rank in her fourth attempt. This journey was not easy for him. At times his confidence also wavered. Couldn’t clear prelims exam in first attempt and couldn’t clear interview in second-third attempt. Eventually he got the fourth rank in the fourth attempt. Let us inform, Aishwarya Verma passed the Common Admission Test (CAT) exam in 2019 with a score of around 98 percentile.

Aishwarya Verma’s preparation strategy says that all you need is persistence and a good study plan to achieve your target marks. He said that studying for long hours, i.e. if you are studying continuously for 16 hours, it is not wise, it is just a hoax. Aishwarya suggested that candidates set short term goals and future targets and try to achieve them.
